Al Gurg Charity sponsors annual competition of Fatima Rashid Center for Quran Memorisation

Since its establishment in 2010, Al Gurg Charity has always devoted part of its budget to support the Holy Quran memorisation centers and Islamic centers. Al Gurg Charity has exclusively sponsored the construction and establishment of the Fatima Abdullah Mohammed Rashid Center for Holy Quran Memorization.
In May 2018, the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Charity Foundation has sponsored the first annual competition among the students of the Center and the prizes awarded. The ceremony was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai. It was attended by a large number of dignitaries, staff of the Center, students and their families, headed by HE Dr. Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Haddad, Chief Mufti, Director of Fatwa, Islamic Affairs Department in Dubai where IACAD was also honoured by the Centre for its continuing support and a shield was received by Juma Al Balooshi as a representative of the Department.
The ceremony was also attended by Sheikh Abdulrahman Darwish Al Marzouqi, Chairman of Al-Siddiq Center for Holy Quran Memorization, Dr. Farid Al-Gurg, Abdullah Al-Shaibani, Board Members, Mohammed Farouk, Manager of Al Gurg Charity, in addition to staff from the Center and Al Gurg Charity staff.
