Supporting students with school and university fees, distributing 2,500 school bags

Al Gurg Charity distributed school bags to 2,500 primary school students as part of the "School Bag and Stationery Supplies" project. This is one of the Foundation’s most important seasonal projects, for students of low income families. The 2,500 school bags which included basic school supplies, have been distributed to cases registered in the Foundation’s database from the various emirates of UAE.
Al Gurg Charity donated a number of these school bags to other charities in the country to ensure access to the largest possible segment of needy cases in the various regions and emirates, including the Needy Families Committee in Umm Al Quwain (Dar Al Ber Society), Fujairah Charity Association and Al Nafa Foundation in Ajman.
This initiative is in addition to the school and university aid provided by the Foundation to support needy families, whether for the arrears of the previous year or support in the current year 2021/2022 expenses.
